ABBAS HABIBALLA

Initially trained as a photograper in Sudan’s ministry of culture, Abbas Habiballa went on to record the commonplace, intimate and celebrative life moments of his family and neighbours in various facets of Sudanese culture. Captured on his Rolleiflex camera, his group portraits were theatrically staged and his subjects were delicately captured.
