Lives and works in Dubai

Lawrence Abu Hamdan, who refers to himself as a “private ear”, is an artist who investigates the world through the study of sound and linguistics. His artwork and research, along with fellow members of the collective Forensic Architecture, has been used as evidence at the UK Asylum and Immigration Tribunal and as advocacy for organisations such as Amnesty International and Defence for Children International.
