Biography

Ibrahim El Salahi created his own artistic language by integrating the classical techniques he learned studying in London with African and Islamic pattern. His paintings blend abstract calligraphy with motifs from nature, reflecting his life experiences. El Salahi’s multidisciplinary practice has been noted for repositioning African artistic practices within the framework of a revived global modernism.
