Produced over the course of six decades, Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian’s prodigious output is epitomised by the repetitive patterns and structural geometric shapes seen in her mirrored and reverse glass paintings. Her delicate drawings and collages, alongside her mirrored mosaics and sculptures weave together tradition with a modernist consciousness, which situated the artist amongst renowned abstract artists globally.
