Tony Chakar is an architect, artist and writer whose practice frequently incorporates literature, philosophy and theory through an amalgam of text, images and architectural forms. His work often explores the complexities of conflict and its aftermath in his home city of Beirut. Chakar also teaches and writes widely on art and architecture in Lebanon.
