In Kamal Youssef ’s work, the tangible and the spiritual worlds intertwine. His paintings and sculptures, made over the span of seven decades, were often influenced by his travels between Egypt, France and the U.S., often inspired by the avant-garde movements of the time, including Egyptian Surrealism.
