Multidisciplinary visual artist, writer and translator Farideh Lashai’s practice spanned more than five decades and weaved personal history with expressive abstraction, lyricism and narrative. Celebrating nature in her idyllic landscapes and depicting solace in it is scenery, Lashai’s art was deeply rooted in the social and political realms.
