Lives and works between Barcelona and Tangier
Anuar Khalifi uses vivid colours to create transcendental portraits inspired by his ongoing pursuit of creating a transcendental spiritual practice. Self-taught, Khalifi’s paintings are presented in a neo-impressionist style. His landscapes often contain figures who invoke the Sufi tradition alongside autobiographical elements, as well as key references from the genre from art history.
