Playing the role of storyteller and urban archeologist, Bani Abidi explores an emotional and psychological space of satire, absurdity and social commentary through video, photography and performance. Her unexpected protagonists blur the lines between actors and non-actors, scripted and spontaneous moments, exposing the absurd theatre of society.
