Tala Madani’s satirical paintings offer a sharp critique of a patriarchal society. In her figurative works, which often proffer a critique of the male figure, she deconstructs notions of masculinity and gender stereotypes. Her images are derived from studies and sketchbooks, and her paintings are also often transformed into stop-motion animations.
